NHS Education for Scotland (NES) assumed the employer status (from August 2011) for Specialty Trainees in the General Practice Component of the training programme. This includes trainees that were recruited in previous years and are continuing / due to commence their training post in the GP component of the programme.
What is this FAQ?
Since August 2011 the HR Team have received a high quantity of questions covering common employment themes including: annual leave, public holidays, change of address, payslips, GMC registration and so forth. As a result, HR has compiled a list of frequently asked questions for GP Specialty Registrar's (GPSR's) and GP Units (GPUs) to refer to. This section is intended to provide additional information in an easily accessible and readable form.
